You are

A developer who likes to translate user needs into relevant and solid technical solutions. You want to be part of a highly skilled dev team in Lausanne and take the lead on various projects.

You are looking for new challenges and complex issues of data architecture, performance, or logic do not scare you. You also enjoy combining UX and front-end notions with your back-end skills, in order to set up intuitive editing interfaces for the end customer.

Perspective

As a back-end developer, you will be considered an architect on the development team and will work with creative front-end devs, UX/UI designers and strategists to imagine, conceptualise and code a wide variety of high quality websites.

Today, we mainly use WordPress as a pure Headless CMS for the ease of editing with Gutenberg. All the rendering part is coded in JS/React with Next.js. We are constantly improving our stack and are always open to consider other tools and frameworks.

You have what it takes

  • At least 3 years as a back-end/full-stack developer in a web agency
  • Strong skills in PHP and JS
  • Good knowledge of one or more major CMS (WordPress, Drupal) and JS framework (Next.js or other)
  • A high level understanding of how the web works (hosting, major protocols, browser operations)
  • A professional level of written and spoken French and English
  • Ability to analyse the technical feasibility of a project and estimate its implementation
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • A thorough understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, devops)
  • Knowledge and interest in web security
  • Applied devops experience (CI/CD, Linux) – a plus
  • Familiarity with the Agile mindset and processes – a plus
